Ashley was weighing 2 pounds and 8 ounces at the time she was born. In the course of a month, she was hospitalized in the ICU. The news was made to her parents at the time of the Christmas Day that she was going to undergo an operation on her heart. Christmas Day brought answers to her prayers when doctors told her parents that she had the heart shut. Ashley didn't need to undergo any surgeries. In two months of hospitalization she weighed only 4 1/2 lbs when she was released. Her health is improving. Her father is English-German. Her mother's side is from Ireland. In 2002, Ashley first made an appearance in a commercial to promote The Salon Surprise Barbie Doll. Ashley was initially approached by Ford Modeling Agency when she turned eight. As of today, Ashley continues to work within the print business. As early as 10 when she was 10, she realized that acting was what she wanted. Ashley was able to perform 35 commercials before moving onto stage roles. Ashley discovered her love for acting. Ashley was able to focus all her energy on acting. This left very few hours for modeling or dancing. Ashley is best known for her character of Hannah Marin on ABC's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley was also in Romeo Miller's video (aka Lil Romeo), as well as Solange's song"True Love. She did a photo shoot with Britney Spears for Vogue Magazine. The actress is in the NLT's "That Girl".
