Shevchenko took a break from MMA to concentrate on her kickboxing, and she made her comeback in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa with a unanimous vote, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. The promotion ended in 2018 to join Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina displayed her striking prowess by TKOing Nievera using knees. Antonina was able to bounce back from her loss and beat Lucie Puddilova in UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission during the second round. The bout earned Antonina the Fight of the Night bonus. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 during her subsequent three matches which included a win against Ariane Lipski and losing to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee.
